Memorials & Honoraria
A wonderful way to recognize your companion animals, friends and family who have departed from us is to make a gift in their memory to The Animal Center. A personal letter acknowledging your kindness is sent to the family of the person or animal in whose memory the gift was given. Memorials also appear in our printed newsletters.

In honor of donations: Celebrations to honor include birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, weddings, and random acts of kindness—all can be honored through your tax deductible donation to The Animal Center. For a minimum donation of $25 or greater, the person you honor will receive a personal letter informing them of your kindness and the gratifying feeling that homeless animals have been helped through your generosity. Honoraria donations also appear in our printed newsletters.

Bequests: Plan Now for the Future
With a bequest to The Animal Center, you can take pride and comfort in knowing that your gift will help to ensure that homeless animals get the second chance they deserve in our community for years to come. And because The Animal Center is a non-profit charitable organization, the tax savings will significantly reduce the tax burden to your heirs. Your bequest can take the form of a cash gift, real estate, life insurance, retirement account, securities and/or other property. If you would like to donate a wish list item or funds to purchase an item, please call The Animal Center at (203)270-0228 or email info@theanimalcenter.org. Gifts can be made in donor’s names, in memory or honor of a loved animal, family member or friend, or anonymously according to the donor’s wishes. Thank you!
