Riddick

This blind kitten may have had a really rough start in life, but her luck has taken a dramatic turn for the better. Found on the street stumbling to climb over the curb, Riddick was in bad shape. But the good doctors at Mill Plain Veterinary Hospital saw something very special in this kitten and knew she'd pull through.

After extensive eye surgery, Riddick is feeling so much better. While she will never regain vision, her surgery has made her a lot more comfortable and was medically necessary to ensure that her eyes aren’t prone to constant infection and pressure.

Best news of all: Riddick got adopted. She was discharged from Mill Plain Hospital on August 1st and is recovering with her new mom, Gail (pictured above). Riddick is eating, using the litter box, playing with her toys and being a great patient and letting Gail do all her meds. We just love happy endings!

Thank you to everyone who sponsored Riddick's surgery. You turned whatever hurt this kitten had in the past into a chance to heal and find a forever home.  We could not have helped this kitten without you, and we are very grateful for your support.
